The relationship between β self-absorption factor and sample mass thickness in the aerosol measurements

  • 1. CNNC Nuclear Power Operations Management Co., LTD, Haiyan (China)

Description

Separate the environmental monitoring aerosol sampling filters. By experimental measurement of covering standards β sources, the emission rate of β particle in different mass thickness and the fitting function are obtained. By measuring the separated sampling filters, we get the distribution of β particle in the sampling filters and the distribution function. Combine the two functions, we obtained the relationship between β self-absorption factor and sample mass thickness in the sampling filters. Used to calculate various different β self-absorption factor in different aerosol sampling filters, Improved the measurement accuracy. (authors)
