Investigation into the formation of the variable-valence uranium complexes with organic ligands

Description

It has been established that irradiation of the system uranyl perchlorate - acetone leads to acetone polymerization, the excited uranyl complexes acting as a catalyst of the process. Uranium in the polymer is in the form of nanoclusters of the penta- and tetravalent-uranium compounds resultant from the photochemical reactions. (authors)
