Multiplicity of grain boundaries structure and grain boundary shear lattice

Description

Computerized simulation of atomic structures of symmetrical inclined grain boundaries was conducted. Degenerated metastable configurations of boundaries were revealed. Correlation between components of rigid lattice shear of multiple boundary structures and basis vectors of grain boundary shears was established. 10 refs.; 3 figs
