Description

The measured two-proton correlation functions at small relative momenta can be well described by calculations based upon the BUU model for central heavy-ion collisions at the intermediate energy. However, a recent work indicated that there is a large discrepancy between BUU calculations and measurements for collisions 40Ar +197Au at E/A=200MeV. The momentum-dependent potential was not yet addressed in that BUU model even though it is known to play an essential role in the collisions at Bevalac energies. Therefore, we have performed calculations using a modified BUU model which incorporates momentum-dependent potential and light cluster productions. Furthermore, we will study the multiplicity-selected two-proton correlation functions for collisions 40Ca + 40Ca, 93Nb + 93Nb at E/A = 400MeV which were measured by the Plastic Ball before
