Influence of ordering of structure on the optical properties of WO3 thin film
Description
The influence of ordering on the electronic properties of WO3 has been investigated directly. A method of preparing colored thin WO3 films on glass substrate (with a temperature gradient of 100 K/50 mm) has been described. The obtained films consist of regions of different ordering: amorphous, polycrystalline, and oriented polycrystalline regions. The optical absorption and ESR spectra of colored film regions have been measured and explained. A model of color centers for intervalence charge transfer transition has been discussed
