Investigations of the physical and chemical properties of solid solutions Pb/Mnsub(1/2), Nbsub(1/2)/O3 - PbTiO3 - PbZrO3

The preparation of the PMTZ materials on the basis of solid solutions Pb/Mnsub(1/2)/O3 - PbTiO3 - PbZrO3 has been described. The X-ray analysis of the examined materials has been made, and porosity and grain size have been determined. Dielectric constant and mechanical quality factor as a function of PbZrO3 content have been determined. The obtained results indicate that solid solutions Pb/Mnsub(1/2), Nbsub(1/2)/O3 - PbTiO3 - PbZrO3 are useful piezoelectric materials. (author)
