Resonance method for testing NPP power equipment seismic stability

Description

The resonance method for determining NPP equipment dynamic characteristics with eigen frequency tuning of objects by means of unbalanced mass vibrators is considered. On the base of the solution of differential equations describing the vibrations of the ''tested object - vibrator'' systems it is shown that the reverse effect of the object vibrations on the motion of vibrator rotors under certain conditions predetermines the possibility of self-synchronization of rotors. The designed standard sized series of vibrators is preliminarily tested on objects imitating NPP equipment by mass and configuration and using a selected engine power within 0.2-1 kW a stable vibrating process has been ensured
