Baryon spectroscopy
Description
The paper reviews the decline in interest in experimental baryon spectroscopy, and discusses whether a revival is necessary or possible. Baryon spectroscopy data on πN, kN and k-barN reactions; partial wave analyses; quark models; and a formation engine for πN and kN; are all discussed. (U.K.)
