Description
Computer calculations have been performed to determine calibration factors of various types of neutron dosimeters in a heavy water moderated 252Cf and monoenergetic neutron fields, and the mediums being free air and a water phantom. In the case of heavy water moderated 252Cf source, the neutron spectra from the source was determined with MORSE-CG code. The backscattered neutron spectra on the surface of the phantom was calculated with MNCP code and then the contribution of these backscattered neutrons to the dose equivalent was estimated. (author)
