Cumulative effect of nonstandard radiation
Description
Experimental data on the cumulative effect of nonstandard beams are evaluated and analyzed in terms of a cell kinetic model. The dependence of RBE on the dose per fraction is derived. The repopulation is shown to diminish RBE. The ratio of RBE's for late and acute in1uries is discussed. The ''neutron TDF'' proposed for clinical purposes is critically evaluated. (author)
