Projection operator treatment of the (π,p) reaction
Creators
Description
The projection operator method, which leads to the isobar-doorway model, can provide a unified treatment of the (π,p) reaction. It allows extraction of the one-nucleon and two-nucleon mechanisms in a manner that eliminates double counting. Forms that should give a convenient method for this unified treatment are presented
