Estimation of N2-fixation by sugarcane, Saccharum sp., and soybean, Glycine max, grown in soil with 15N-labelled organic matter

Description
In this study nitrogen-15 tagged organic matter was used to estimate the nitrogen derived from organic matter, nitrogen fixation and soil, using sugarcane and soybean as test plants. The authors concluded that the use of nitrogen-15 labelled organic matter seems a useful approach to the longer term measurements of nitrogen fixation. (Auth.)
