A lower dimensional system at finite temperature

  • 1. Kinki University, Kyushu (Japan). Department of Liberal Arts

Description

By means of an improved method of 1/N expansion, an effectively lower dimensional system at finite temperature is studied. This system is realized by dimensional reduction caused by a certain supersymmetry, and acquires finite loop corrections. It is examined how renormalized quantities (mass and coupling constant) depend on bare parameters and temperature effect in a power series of temperature. (author). 5 refs.; 3 figs
