State-to-state dynamics of the hydrogen exchange reaction
Description
A novel technique has been used to study the reaction H + D2 → HD + D in crossed beams. High resolution measurements of the product D atom time-of-flight distributions are made selectively exciting the atoms to high Rydberg states at the reaction center. Information will be presented on the state-to-state differential cross section as a function of kinetic energy
