Investigation of hydrated polyvanadates of alkaline earth metals
Description
Xerogels of the MV12O30.7xnH2O general formula are prepared due to decomposition of solutions of peroxovanadates alkaline earth ionic exchange of polyvanadium acid protons followed by drying the products in the air. They have a luminated quasimonomer structural type with the interlayer distances under normal conditions equaling 11.27, 11.01, 11.02 and 10.96 ± 0.05 A for M=Mg, Ca, Sr and Ba, respectively. The thermal stability of compounds is studied as well as equilibrium pressures of water vapors above them. The maximum pressure of water vapors is observed above barium polyvanadates
