Description
The position of X-ray diffraction maxima are measured, and the lattice parameters a for pure palladium and its alloys with Cu, Pt, Hf and Sm are calculated. It is revealed that microstresses leading to increase of the cubic crystal lattice parameter a depending on crystallographic orientation occur in samples during plastic deformation of the surface by grinding. Saturation of samples with hydrogen reduces the value of microstresses and can even change their sign
