A sealed proportional counter used to measure light element Al, Si

Description

A kind of home-made sealed PC with thin Be window and high resolution is reported. It can be used to measure the Al, Si, S content in cement raw material. The accuracy σ for Al2O3 (content 3.22%) is 0.05, and for SiO2 (12.5%) the σ is 0.10. A comparison with some foreign advanced products is included. The application of the PC are given as well
