Some field parameters of the linear heliotron P field

Description
The Heliotron P Field can be produced by superposing the uniform axial field on the field of the current carrying ring conductor series placed along the axis with regular intervals, and it is interesting magnetic field for plasma confinement. It is essentially the same field as produced by putting the negative coil of the Heliotron B field inside the vacuum vessel, and is a sort of a chain of the Spherator field. Changing the values of the ratio of the ring field intensity to the uniform field and the ratio of the ring radius to the interval gives various kinds of interesting fields. In this paper, we deduced the exact expressions of the magnetic inductions and the lines of of force of this field, and by expanding the complete elliptic integrals we obtained the field parameters which determine these various field configurations.
