Ruthenium benzylmercaptide as an initial product for resistors preparation
Description
Preparation of a new ruthenium organic compound Ru(OH)(SCH2C6H5)3 (1), which is an initial product in production of thick-film resistorsi has been described. 1 is prepared by condensation reaction of Ru oxytrichloride with the corresponding thiols during heating in ethanol solution in the presence of equimolar amount of NaOH. During 1 heating its decomposition with the formation of RuO2 at 450-500 deg takes place. 1 ensures a high stability of resistor electric resistance and also it possesses a number of other advantages as compared with other ruthenium-containing materials
