Description

Standard installations for radiotherapy: X-ray ones, gamma installations and linear electron accelerators, are described. X-ray installations of the RIT-, RUT-, RUM-type are based on X-ray tubes and designed for static therapy. Gamma-therapeutic apparatuses of the ''Rokus''-, ''Agat''-type are based on the 60Co source and designed for mobile radiotherapeutic apparatuses (''Rokus''), as well as for static (''Agat''-S), rotatory (''Agat''-R) and intracavitary (''Agat''-V) gamma-therapy. The LUEh-, LUEhV- and LUEhR-type accelerators are considered among linear electron accelerators applied in medicine. Attenuation is paid to mounting, adjustment and operation of installations for radiotherapy
