Plasmo-optical model of a mass-separator with a three-parameter focusing

Description
A model of a three-parameter focusing mass-separator to separate quasi-neutral ion beams by mass in static electromagnetic fields is considered. Values of second-order aberrations are given to estimate the resolution of the system. The retention of quasi-neutrality of the beam allows plasma accelerators to be used as a source
