Novel approach to the statistical theory of nuclear reactions

  • 1. Max-Planck-Institut fuer Kernphysik, Heidelberg (Germany, F.R.)

Description

The statistical input, and some of the results obtained recently in the statistical theory of nuclear reactions are described with the help of a novel theoretical approach. This approach makes use of and generalizes methods developed by Wegner, Schaefer, and Efetov in the theory of disordered solids. (author). 20 refs
