A method of wire forced vibrations for determining the circulation in viscous fluids

  • 1. AN Gruzinskoj SSR, Tbilisi. Inst. Fiziki

Description

The method of forced vibrations, providing a possibility to measure circulation in viscous fluids, has been considered. In the presence of a circulation around a wire with fixed end beats of its vibtation appear. The measurement of the beat period permits to measure the circulation of superfluid component in such viscous liquids as superfluid phase of helium-3, and also helium-2 at superlow temperatures
