Recoil corrections to pion-nucleon interactions in the CBM

Description
Pion-nucleon elastic scattering is considered within the cloudy bag model (CBM) with recoil corrections included. The consideration of recoil corrections is shown to reduce to the renormalization of the πNN-vertex constant whose value is in a better agreement with experiment than that in the static approximation. The contribution of the recoil corrections to scattering lengths in the J=1/2 channel is found to be about 30%, and in the J=3/2 channel it is insignificant. (orig.)
