Interferometric measurement in GaAs single quantum dots: Temperature dependence of exciton decoherence

Description
We report single-photon interferometry of emissions from single self-assembled GaAs/(Al, Ga)As quantum dots. Homogeneous linewidth of excitons is determined as a function of temperature from 4 to 50 K. Photoemissions from quantum dots are temporally resolved on picosecond time scale. We discuss the influence of local fields inside a barrier to the decoherence of excitons in quantum dots
