On a possible seismic nature of long-period (T=1-4 h) variations of geomagnetic disturbance

Description
Spectral analysis of geomagnetic disturbance variations within 50-230 min range according to observation data of AE-index for 14 year period is conducted. It is determined. that eperiods of separated nonaccidental harmonic constituents have close values with respective periods of the Earth long-period oscillations. Excitation of geomagnetic oscillations after series of strong earthquakes during periods corresponding to multiplet of the Earth main spheroidal tone is shown
