Thermoelectric effects in superconductors
Creators
- 1. Solid State Sci. Div., Argonne National Lab., Argonne, IL. 60439
Description
This article offers a brief review of some of the thermoelectric effects unique to superconductors. These effects include thermoelectrostatic effects, the ''''fountain'' effect, thermoelectrically generated flux in superconducting rings, acousto-electric effects, and thermoelectric charge imbalance effects in thin films. Experimental results with each of these phenomena are reviewed with reference to current theories
