Riemann-double construction for spinning string propagators

Description
We formulate a fermionic Dirichlet problem on a cylinder for each of the various sectors of the spinning string. We find solutions using a generalization of Green's theorem. The Green functions are given, via a 'doubling trick', in terms of Green functions on a torus. This explains the appearance of elliptic functions in expressions for the corresponding string propagators. (orig.)
