  • 1. Instituto de Pesquisas Energeticas e Nucleares (IPEN), Sao Paulo, SP (Brazil)

Description

In this work, following fatigue crack growth tests carried out at the CEN-SACLAY (AMORFIS program) by Laiarinandrasana (1994) on 316 L(N) CT specimens at 6500C and 6000C, short crack behavior of cracks emanating from machined notches is investigated. Experimental results are presented and discussions are directed to notch plasticity effect in relation with variations in crack opening stress intensity factor, Kop, with crack lenght (author). 12 refs., 5 figs., 2 tab
