On reaction of synthesis of zirconium and hafnium tetrahydroborates with the use of NaBH4
Description
The reactions of crystalline ZrCl4 and HfCl4 with NaBH4 have been studied. These reactions, when performed in vacuum rotation mills, lead to formation of Zr(BH4)4 and Hf(BH4)4 with the yields up to 77-83%. The data obtained and advantages of the method are outlined
