Description

A process for the immobilization of an inorganic ion exchange resin in a cement matrix is presented. The selection of the preferred matrix is described, alternative cementation processes reviewed and a flowsheet, flow diagram and plant layout of a conceptual design presented. The results of a R and D programme on the evaluation of the immobilized waste form are given. (author)
