Description
Progress in the construction of the new 500 MeV MEA linac has been reported. Expected and designed beam-parameters are given and the construction for different subsystems has been described. The planning scheme and time schedule are given up to early 1978. The linac will be put into operation in 1977 for the low energy (140 MeV) stations and in 1979 for the high energy (500 MeV) stations
