Restructuring in the electricity industry

Creators

Description

Papers, speaking notes and copies of overhead projections used in presentations at the November 1996 conference on restructuring in the electricity industry were provided. The conference was organized to help industry leaders understand the implications of the MacDonald Committee report, to disseminate other relevant information on how the industry will be restructured, and to prepare industry insiders for the competitive environment in which they will have to work following deregulation. As part of this preparation, tools that will be required to survive and succeed in this new environment, and some useful techniques for maximizing market share, and generally, to benefit from the transition, were also provided
