Nucleus as a relativistic system

Description
It is shown that the Miller-Green-Walecka relativistic model of the nucleus leads to the same equation for wave functions and nucleon bound-state energies as the nonrelativistic Hartree-Fock approximation with the Skyrme effective forces (HFS). For nuclei with N = Z the parameters of the HFS method are calculated within the framework of relativistic theory using realistic interaction forces between free nucleons. It is shown that the parameters calculated are in good agreement with those used in the HFS method
