Effect of additions on thermal physical properties of zincalumoyttrium phosphate glasses
Description
The effect of additions of various oxides and fluorides on linear expansion thermal coefficient (LETC) (α) and thermal conductivity (λ) of a glass is studied. Analyzing the obtained data from the viewpoint of phosphate glass heat resistance increase the additions of SiO2, Nb2O5 and fluorides should be singled out as perspective ones. Preference should be given to silicon dioxide as a common, nonvolatile component, which does not cause glass colouring
