A comment on octet enhancement in the ΔI = 1/2 rule

Description
We apply vacuum background fields method to correct the coefficient functions of the O+ and O- operators in ΔS = 1 effective weak Hamiltonian responsible for K → 2π decays. The additional relative octet enhancement factor of 2-3 is obtained by accounting for the gluon condensate corrections if the scale parameter μ2 is set below 1 GeV2. (orig.)
