Confinements systems in nuclear facilities other than nuclear reactors

This report represents the problem of confinement system in nuclear facilities other than nuclear reactors. The presentation deals with the regulations to be adopted in applying for a licence to construct or operate such facilities. It specifies in particular the requirements to be fulfilled in physical and treatment barriers. The outlined regulations and requirements are deduced form the 10-CFR (Vol. 10 of the code of federal regulations-USA) and the related US-NRC regulatory guides. The USA-system has world wide application, since most countries have not developed their own national code in what concerns nuclear facilities other than nuclear reactors
