Description
Critical current density was measured by means of pulsed transport method and magnetic hysteresis method for the Bi2Sr2CaCu2Ox single crystal which was grown by the TSFZ method. In case of the transport measurement, larger critical current density than 1.8 x 104 A/cm2 was observed at 77 K. As for the magnetic measurements, very high critical current density of 2.5 x 106 A/cm2 was observed at 4.2 K. Temperature dependence of the critical current density and decay of the magnetization suggests small pinning potential with narrow distribution
