Effects of acute and recurrent irradiation of Beta palonga
Description
X-irradiation with second, third and even later generations to induce further genetic variability in Beta palonga; manifested little variability with respect to germination, survival percentage and ultimate plant height. However, recurrent irradiation leads to increase in variability only in flowering time like M1 generation. (author). 10 refs., 4 tabs
