There is unrest in and among gas-producing countries. Iran continues to carry out its nuclear program and the situation in Georgia is putting pressure on gas transport from Russia. Nevertheless the oil price and hence the gas price have decreased. The author still warns about shortages in 2010. [mk]

Het is onrustig in en rondom de gasproducerende landen. Iran blijft zijn nucleaire programma uitvoeren en de situatie in Georgie zet het gastransport vanuit Rusland onder druk. Toch is de olieprijs, en daarmee de gasprijs, gezakt. De auteur waarschuwt echter voor tekorten in 2010
