Exposure to ionizing radiation is known to produce hazardous effects upon living organisms which may be more or less profound,depending on the radiosensitivity of the system and the quantity of radiation. therefore, it was necessary to study radiation effects on some biochemical and hormonal parameters. the present study was carried out on: 1- male albino rats. 2- female pregnant albino rats irradiated before delivery on the 19 th day of pregnancy. each sex was exposed to two non- lethal doses of whole body gamma irradiation (300 and 600 r)
