Thermodynamic studies of high-temperature superconductors YBa2Cu3Ox and Bi2Sr2CaCu2Oy

Description
It is shown experimentally that the curves for the heat capacity of superconductors intersect those for corresponding glasses near a superconducting transition temperature. The curves for the heat capacity of superconductors at TTc are above than the corresponding glass curves. Based on the obtained results, the thermodynamic criterion is proposed which limits the range of existence of high-temperature superconductivity
