Development of reference material for uranium-molybdenum and carbonate-type uranium ores
- 1. Beijing Research Institute of Chemical Engineering & Metallurgy, CNNC, Beijing (China)
Description
Based on the characteristics of China's uranium ores and the actual contents of relevant elements, five level reference materials were developed, so as to strengthen the quality control for the research and production practices and monitor the analysis quality. In this paper, 3 reference materials made of uranium-molybdenum ore and 2 reference materials made of carbonate-type uranium ores were developed. The values of U, Mo, Fe, Si(SiO2), P, F, V, As, S and C for uranium-molybdenum ore reference materials, and those of U, Ca, Mg, Al, Si(SiO2), P, V, organic C and inorganic C for carbonate-type uranium ore reference materials were determined, compared and fixed by a number of laboratories. The homogeneity and stability for the reference materials were examined by F test and t test respectively. The statistical processing of all the test data is conformed to the Technical Specification of Primary Reference Materials. (authors)
