Inclusive η' as an indicator of gluon fields in hadron collisions

Description

π0, η and η' inclusive production in π-p collisions is studied. The NA27 experimental data are shown to be in good agreement with the model of common quark-gluon string fragmentation for the case of π0 and η. The η'-meson yields are anomalously large. For their explanation one has to use an additional (glueball) mechanism of hadron production associated with the presence of a gluon component of the initial hadrons
