Density measurements in FTU from electron cyclotron emission

Description
In this paper we present the results obtained on FTU tokamak (major radius R0=0.935 m; limiter radius a=0.3 m; central toroidal magnetic field B0≤8 T) by means of an absolutely calibrated Fourier transform spectrometer with a time resolution of 5 ms and a spatial resolution of 0.03 m. Only ohmically heated thermal plasmas will be considered; data on suprathermal electron cyclotron emission are sparse at the moment and will be analyzed in future works. (orig.)
