Case report 498: Intraosseous lipoma of the distal end of the fibula with focal infarction

Description
A case of an intramedullary lipoma of bone with focal necrosis, occurring in the distal end of the fibula of a 75-year-old female is reported. The diagnosis of lipoma with focal necrosis was made, following resection of the lesion. The literature concerning these lesions is reviewed. (orig./GDG)
