Neutrino mixing in SO(10)
Description
This article is devoted to the possibility of nonzero neutrino masses and mixing angles, and the neutrino oscillations which would result. These phnomena are discussed in the context of the grand unified field theory SO(10), using the Gell-Mann-RamondSlansky mechanism to explain generation of neutrino masses. If the phenomena here discussed are discovered experimentally, some light might be shed on the mechanism of mass generation to be used in grand unified field theories
