Calculation of channelling and blocking effects for ion beam surface crystallography
- 1. FOM-Instituut voor Atoom-en Molecuulfysica, Amsterdam (Netherlands)
Description
Surface peak intensities have been calculated for 'double alignment' backscattering configurations, using analytical models and Monte Carlo simulation. Such calculations, when compared with experimental results, yield valuable information on the structure and vibrational properties of single crystal surfaces. (orig.)
