Description
Spectra of relativistic π± mesons and protons undergoing interaction in inelastic collisions of p, 12C, 22Ne with photoemulsion nuclei are considered. The ratios of particle yields in g-fragment ensemble of 22Ne nuclei at rest have been found. Experimental results are compared with the predictions of the cascade-evaporation model for 22Ne+emulsion interactions. It is shown that the ptr spectra of π± mesons and protons consist of two components. The average transverse momentum of the highly excited proton source in 22Ne+emulsion interactions is equal to that in events of Ag total disintegration. The thermalization feature is fulfilled for protons from these events. The π± meson yield per proton is 50% higher than it is in peripheral collisions
