TlNO3-CsNO3-Ca(NO3)2 system

Description
Fusibility diagram of system of Tl, Cs, Ca nitrates is investigated by visual-polythermal technique. Incongruent character of CsNO3xCa(NO3)2 melting in binary system when third component thallium nitrate is introduced transforms into congruent one. System liquidus consists of three fields of crystallization: continuous series of solid solutions of thallium and cesium nitrates, component of calcium nitrate and CsNO3xCa(NO3)2. Crystallization fields converge in ternary eutectic point at 135 deg C and with the following composition: 45.3 % TlNO3, 16.2 % CsNO3 and 38.5 % Ca(NO3)2
